MPOS History

Modular Pipe Organ Systems was established in 2008 although it has its origins in an earlier company, Modern Pipe Organ Solutions, which was founded in 2005. The founding directors included Mark Booth and Paul Mortier. The company, in association with Rodgers® who supplied the electronic components, successfully designed and installed a number of combination organs particularly in China (St Paul’s Church, Hong Kong and Beijing Central Conservatory of Music). However, three directors who had other interests wished to leave the company to focus on their other organ businesses.

Following the closure of the original company Modular Pipe Organ Systems (MPOS) was established with Mark Booth and Paul Mortier as Directors and principal shareholders. The business relationship with Rodgers® has been retained and developed by the new company.

Since the company’s formation, Modular Pipe Organ Systems, in association with Rodgers®, has successfully designed and installed combination organs for St Andrew’s Cathedral, Singapore and Masland Methodist Church, Sibu, Malaysia. At the end of 2009 work was being completed on 2 new organs in Shanghai and Indonesia.
