Mark Booth (Production Director)

Mark Booth initially trained with J. W. Walker & Sons (Ruislip) and N. P. Mander Ltd., gaining enormous experience in all aspects of the craft. Mark re-joined the new J. W. Walker team at Brandon, working alongside Andrew Pennells as Project Manager. He subsequently worked for Richard Bower and Goetze & Gwynn. He is particularly known for his expertise in historic leather work, working on important restoration projects such as St. Botolph's, Aldgate. He is equally at home installing modern solid state organ systems. Mark is to be credited with conceiving the Mpos modular concept, specifically building pipe organs for the digital market. He runs the Company's independent manufacturing base in Swaffham, Norfolk, and is in charge of Production.
Peter Collins (Sales Director)

Peter Collins founded his own company in 1964 upon his return from further training with Rieger Orgelbau of Austria, having earlier completed an indentured apprenticeship with the London firm of Bishop & Son. He has had a long and illustrious career building a huge number of notable new mechanical action instruments in addition to undertaking significant restoration projects. Ever at the forefront of organ building evolution, Peter undertook a major combination organ project with the Allen Organ Company for Trönö Church, Sweden. Peter's experience in this new area, along with his knowledge of the export market have proved invaluable for our new venture.
Anthony Hall (Design Director)

Anthony Hall read Law at Manchester University before commencing an apprenticeship with Rieger Orgelbau in Austria. He joined Nicholson & Co Ltd. as Designer and, over a ten year period, was responsible for designing many notable instruments, including Portsmouth Cathedral, Southwell Minster and Christchurch Priory. He has subsequently worked as a freelance designer for many firms in the UK and abroad, his most notable design commission being the new 60 stop four manual mechanical action instrument built by J. W. Walker for St Mark's Episcopal Church, Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA (Photos). Anthony is responsible for all aspects of casework and technical design.
Warren Marsh (Tonal Director)

Warren Marsh served his apprenticeship with J. W. Walker & Sons, initially gaining experience as a pipe maker. He went on to train as a Voicer, under the tutelage of Michael Butler and Paul Fulcher. During his time with the firm, he was involved with many of the company's most significant projects, including Adelaide Town Hall and St. Chad's Cathedral, Birmingham. Warren became a freelance Voicer, working on an international scale with notable firms, such as Rosales and Petty Madden. He was also regularly engaged by Goetze & Gwynn and worked with them on many restoration projects, the most intriguing being the Convent of Santa Clara in Santiago de Compostela. Warren is responsible for all scaling, voicing and tonal finishing.
Paul Mortier (Technical Director)

Paul Mortier graduated with a 2.1 Masters degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine (University of London) and worked as a design engineer at Motorola in Loughborough on a joint research project with Imperial. Upon completion of the project, the opportunity arose to pursue his interest in the pipe organ, working for a variety of companies and learning some of the fundaments of the trade with J. W. Walker & Sons. Paul joined the Mpos team to provide the necessary technical expertise required to combine an Mpos pipe module to any keyboard instrument. Paul is responsible for the electronic systems design and application and also assists in tonal finishing, particularly balancing digital voices to seamlessly blend with pipes.
